Florence Pugh posted a detailed post on her Instagram earlier on Friday paying tribute to her most recent film, Don’t Worry Darling, amid recent drama and rumors about the project.
The 26-year-old actress thanked those involved in bringing the film to life, adding that the “movie was such an epic story.”
The message came shortly after a source revealed Vulture that both the actress and director, Olivia Wilde, 38, would have “screaming matches” on the film’s set.

The Little Women star has uploaded a series of behind-the-scenes photos to give a taste of what the set looked like when the film was made.
In the caption, she wrote: “We met so many talented people, visited amazing locations, worked hard in the desert dust and looked good doing it.”
Florence quickly yelled at the hair and makeup team who created the stunning looks for the film.
She then took the time to express how grateful she was for the devoted fans who “bought tickets and those who have already seen it.”

Florence explained the amazing experience she always feels when she sees a movie come to life on the big screen.
“Whenever I watch huge impactful movie moments on huge screens, I always remind myself that there’s a thump just inches from the frame I’m looking at,” she typed, adding: “Or signs on the floor just below the waist of the actors.’
The Midsommar actress articulated the memorable long days she spent on set with the other cast members and talented crew.
“It’s crazy to think that each set-up and scene takes a good part of a day to perform, and on this one… there was a lot to perform!”
The beauty closed the post by saying how “grateful” she was to be part of “such an epic story on such a grand scale.” During the small tribute, Florence made no mention of Olivia.
Filming: Don’t Worry Darling began filming mid-pandemic in 2020 and ended a year later in February 2021
Drama: Drama related to the film has increased in recent months, including Shia LaBeouf being reportedly “fired” and disagreements between Florence and Olivia
Shooting for Don’t Worry Darling began midway through the pandemic in 2020 and ended a year later in February 2021.
Just before the film’s special premiere and screening at the Venice Film Festival earlier in September, drama erupted around the cast members.
There were claims that Shia LaBeouf was fired from the production, which the actor has adamantly denied. He was originally cast to play the character of Jack, but was replaced by Harry Styles.
According to Variety, Emails Shia sent to Olivia revealed that the Transformers actor had written, “You and I both know the reasons for my departure. I stopped your film because your actors and I couldn’t find time to rehearse.’
On the other hand, Olivia claimed that the… publication that he was fired, adding, “His trial was not conducive to the ethos I demand in my productions.”

Released: Don’t Worry Darling premiered in theaters earlier Friday and previously screened at the 2022 Venice Film Festival
Shortly before Florence’s Instagram tribute to the psychological thriller, sources recently said Vulture that anything was far from paradise during the production between Florence and Olivia.
According to an unnamed insider in the film, Pugh and Wilde got into an argument over Wild’s “frequent, inexplicable absence” from the set, resulting in a “screaming contest” between the two women. ‘Olivia and Harry would just disappear,’ added an insider publication.
The apparent feud came to light last month when Wilde called Pugh “Miss Flo” and said she needed a “wake-up call” during the film’s rehearsal period, in a leaked video for actor Shia LaBeouf.
The report even claims that the feud between the pair got so bad that it was taken to the top executive of Warner Bros. at the time – Toby Emmerich – who was supposed to play peacemaker.
Scenic: Parts of the physiological thriller were filmed in the desert, and Florence captured great scenic shots of the set
Preparation: Cast and crew were pictured setting up a scene in which Florence takes a ballet class
Emmerich is said to have facilitated a “long negotiation process” to ensure that Pugh would stay with the project after the film was wrapped and ensure she would be around to promote it.
However, as previously reported, Pugh withdrew significantly from her promotion duties for the film, which appeared at the Venice premiere but did little else — and recently skipped the New York premiere, an odd move for a lead actor.
Wilde also failed to dispel the drama in Venice, as it seemed like the attendants were doing everything they could to keep both actresses apart during the photo shoot for the event.
Despite the alleged drama surrounding Don’t Worry Darling, the film officially premiered in theaters across the United States earlier on Friday.
