Last month, the trailer for We Live In Time was released, offering a glimpse into the decade-long romance between Pugh’s character, Almut, and Garfield’s Tobias.
Directed by John Crowley, the romantic drama tells the story of an intimate journey of love and connection, spanning a period of ten years.
At the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, film production company StudioCanal sold the film to A24 for US distribution.
Nick Payne, who worked as a screenwriter on The Crown, wrote the screenplay and developed the script.
The film is executive produced by Benedict Cumberbatch through his company SunnyMarch, along with Leah Clarke, Adam Ackland and Guy Heeley.
