Fleur East says her husband Marcel Badiane-Robin loves to see her ‘shaking my thing’ on Strictly Come Dancing.

The radio host, 34, and the French fashion designer married in Morocco in 2019, with the former X Factor star saying her sexy Strictly costumes and routines took her and her partner back to the early days of their relationship.

She said The sun: ‘He likes it. We’ve been together for 12 years and now every Saturday night he sees me in gorgeous outfits, shaking my thing. It’s fantastic. It’s like going back to the first year.

‘Off the show he is my coach, he comes to rehearsals, gets notes from Vito and does a debriefing with him after every Saturday.

‘When we get home and I do it alone, he’ll say, ‘No, Vito told you to put your foot there.’ It’s like a tag team, I have a double coach.’

Fleur said she and her Italian dance partner Vito Coppola, 30, found an instant connection during their first rehearsal, with the twinkling star likening her energy to a “lion.”
