Fleet-footed Jadon Sancho embarrasses both Demarai Gray and Amadou Onana by grounding both Everton players with a bit of skill during Man United’s victory over the Toffees
Jadon Sancho embarrassed Everton players Demarai Gray and Amadou Onana with a deft move in Manchester United’s victory over the Toffees.
The one-off England international was filmed by a member of the public running at high speed down United’s left side, with Gray and Onana giving chase.
Showing a quick-footedness typical of his days at Borussia Dortmund, Sancho turned in with the two Everton players unable to stop in time before they both slipped rather comically.
The video then shows Sancho passing the ball into the field for Antony, while Gray and Onana remain on the Old Trafford turf.
It was the crown on what had been an impressive performance from Sancho, who was recently called back to the starting eleven in place of the dropped Wout Weghorst.

Sancho has endured a mixed campaign for United this season, with inconsistency seemingly the dominant theme.
After starting the campaign well, he penetrated Erik ten Hag’s plans and scored against Liverpool in a 2–1 win in the third game of the campaign.
However, prior to the World Cup, he was sent to the Netherlands to train due to various concerns.
Since being called back to the first team, Sancho has found it difficult to get a start. Ten Hag opted for Weghorst alongside Rashford and Sancho, but the first’s lack of goals and Rashford’s groin injury could open the door for further starts.
Ten Hag has dropped subtle hints in recent weeks that Sancho could prove to be an important man for his side, including the suggestion that he could rise to prominence in Rashford’s absence.
“We have the capabilities,” said Ten Hag. Jadon Sancho can score, Bruno Fernandes can score, Marcel Sabitzer can score and Antony. The great thing is that Anthony Martial is getting fitter and can score goals.’
Sancho has had a mixed season for United, perhaps reflecting his wider career with the club to date
United are sweating over Rashford’s fitness after he retired against Everton with a groin injury.
Ten Hag was left angry after the game and complained about the overcrowded program.
“But this was avoidable, there was no need to fix the schedule like we have now,” he said.
“I think another fact is more important than the sporting element, such as protecting the players. Today we saw a very entertaining afternoon, but players can’t do it that often if they’re not fresh.’
