A five-year-old girl has broken a record, becoming the youngest to scale Britain’s highest peaks in less than 48 hours, and even carried out a mountain rescue in her wake.
Seren Isla Price, from Llangennech, Carmarthenshire, took on the mammoth challenge with her father Glyn to climb Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scaffell Pike.
She became the youngest to complete the climb of the highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland in less than 48 hours.
Their eventful climb even included a mountain rescue after Seren and Glyn spotted a hiker needing help getting down the mountain.

It came as the couple reached the top of Ben Nevis and noticed a group of hikers huddled around a woman.
The brave Seren sprang into action to lead the way with her torch, even offering the woman a Lucozade drink in an attempt to boost her energy.
Dad Glyn said: ‘She needed help getting down the mountain, we called mountain rescue as she was quite fatigued and they were coming up from the bottom.

The young man (pictured) even helped a fellow climber who was struggling, giving the woman some of his Lucozade.
Plans: Now Seren and Father Glyn hope to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Everest Base Camp, and climb Mount Toubkal in North Africa in the future.

“It took about two hours to carry her up the zigzag road, to the reservoir where the mountain rescue met us with the air ambulance.
“Seren was brilliant in the fact that she gave the lady Lucozade to help give her energy and was helping her get down the mountain.”
The youngster began mountain climbing with her father Glyn when she was just three years old, and has since climbed all three Welsh peaks.

Through her hard work climbing, Seren (pictured) has raised almost £800 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, which helped her as a baby.
He first planned to attempt his last challenge in 24 hours, but the hike was delayed due to the rescue.
