Five people, including an eight-year-old child, were killed “execution-style” in a Texas shooting by an “intoxicated” gunman who used an AR-15 and has since fled the country.
The shooting took place at 10:30 p.m. last night in Cleveland, a small town north of Houston. Five bodies were found in a house and another three people were injured.
The shooter, who has not yet been publicly named, was said to be intoxicated at the time. He has since fled the country.
Police described him as a Mexican man about six feet tall.

SWAT teams were called to the scene to try and locate the shooter, but he had already fled the country
The motive for the shooting remains unclear.
In a Facebook statement, the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Office said: “Night shift deputies were sent to a residence in connection with a harassment complaint.
En route, the communications center received multiple 911 calls of an active shooting incident at the dispatch location.
“Multiple deputies arrived at the residence and found multiple victims who had died in one resident and several others in critical condition from multiple gunshot wounds.”
Four adults died in the home, while the eight-year-old died in hospital.
According to the police, the shooter is known to shoot his rifle in the front yard.
None of the victims have been named.
Police were first alerted to the scene by a 911 call reporting harassment.
By the time officers arrived, the gunman had fled the country.
A warrant has been issued against him with a $5 million bond.
