Five fantastic fan-made Lego sets are now available for pre-order
Almost all Lego designs come from our own company. But the BrickLink Designer Program, which allows anyone to make their own Lego creations and submit them for review, has five new sets, all of which are available for pre-order now. Although fan ideas have previously been adapted by Lego courtesy of the Lego Ideas program, this is the first time that Lego will produce a fan-made set without any changes by their in-house designers.
The Paris Street, Mountain fortress, Old train locomotive shed, General storeAnd Snack bar can be purchased through February 28. Any set that receives at least 3,000 pre-orders before the closing date will be placed into a limited, one-time production run of 30,000 sets.
The BrickLink Designer Program not only offers the opportunity to showcase a wide range of independent designs, but also gives creators the chance to profit from their work. If their design passes the rigorous review process and goes into production, the creator receives 5% of the proceeds from each unit sold. Below you will find links to each set, along with detailed information for each model.
