Five people, including three children, were found dead at a North Carolina residence in what police believe was a murder-suicide.
Police found the bodies at the High Point home at 7 a.m. Saturday morning after responding to reports of two people yelling for help as they ran down the street.
High Point police Capt. Matt Truitt told local news that there were two adults, who have not been identified, “running down the street… yelling for help” minutes before the five were discovered. bodies.
Authorities then searched 2734 Mossy Meadow Drive and found two adults and three children deceased. It is not clear how old the children were.

Investigators believe the tragedy was a murder suicide
The ‘screaming’ couple, who are also believed to have been on the property but escaped the tragedy, have been questioned and released by investigators.
Police confirmed that there is no other threat to the community.
Truitt said: ‘Officers forced their way into the house and searched it in what we call a protective sweep, to check for victims and anyone in the house.
“They ended up locating three minors who had died and two adults who had died.”
According to Truitt, there were in fact four adults in the house when the ordeal occurred; however, two escaped and then tried to get help.
A neighbor, who called police after the two adults woke her up by ringing her doorbell, said WFMY: ‘I was like that never happened here like it happened at my house, especially it’s like oh my god what do I do?
“I decided to call 911 because I thought I would leave it up to them because I don’t want to put my life in the life of my family at risk.”
Shellie Macmillian, who lives around the corner, said her son saw police raiding the area just after 8am: ‘He’s asking, what’s going on?
“I feel like maybe later today, at the right time, I’ll let him know.
‘Because I want you to be aware of what’s going on in our neighborhood, so we’re going to sit down and let you know what happened here.’
