Rachael Finch has been criticized by a popular influencer podcast for running after her daughter while shouting words of encouragement during a school cross-country race.
The Miss Universe Australia turned fitness influencer, 35, raised eyebrows on Friday when she uploaded a video of herself jogging behind daughter Violet, eight, and competing against her peers.
“There we go, it’s the second one down the hill. Suck in the air. Go Go Go! Watch the rocks! That’s it Violet, well done,” she shouted as her daughter ran away, captioning the video: “Crazy cam.”
Unimpressed by the video, identical triplets Amy, Kate and Sophie Taeuber launched a scathing tirade against the mummy blogger on their Outspoken podcast this week.
‘I first saw people talking about this online before I saw the video, and at first I thought, “Oh, she’s probably just one of those supportive parents.” But this was next level,” said one sister.

“I don’t understand how this school let her run after her child during the race. Wouldn’t it really have been unpleasant for the other children?’ another agreed.
One sister pointed out that there would have been plenty of children running behind Rachael, as Violet had finished twelfth out of 100.
‘Can you imagine the other mothers seeing this? [They’d be asking]”Why on earth is she allowed to go to school during the course?”‘ added another.

Although the triplets praised Rachael for showing interest in her daughter’s school activities, they claimed her behavior that day “seemed a bit bizarre.”
“It’s like she’s vicariously experiencing her child because this seemed like one of her dreams,” said one podcaster, while another agreed: “Oh, it was really hard to watch.”
One sister refused to say anything, insisting, “I’d be pretty pissed off if I were a parent at this school.

‘[Imagine if] I’m really excited for my kid to be in this race, but I’m thinking, “Well, no wonder my kid didn’t do so well if they had the benefit of their mom right there breathing down their neck.” , and told them to keep going”.
The sisters said they were “surprised” that Rachael posted the video on social media, noting that it seems like Violet is “putting a lot of pressure on her to get it right.”
It comes after Rachael recently hit back at cruel trolls who accused her of ‘underfeeding’ her children on a ‘strict’ diet.

The TV personality was recently labeled an “almond mom” and accused of “endangering” her children after sharing a video of herself making them “naked burgers” using lettuce cups instead of buns.
“Almond mother” is a pejorative term for a mother who imposes disordered and unhealthy eating habits on her children. It is often used to refer to parents who are ‘obsessed’ with nutrition.

An excited Rachael said the baseless accusation was nothing short of ‘hilarious’.
She shared a photo of herself cuddling with her two children, whom she shares with her dancer husband Michael Miziner, and wrote, “Someone officially labeled me ‘almond mom’ this week.”
‘Definition according to Google: ‘A parent who follows incredibly strict or dangerously unhealthy eating habits and tries to force them on their children.’
‘This was because I was making naked burgers for dinner (meat patty and veggies packed in a lettuce cup).
“While it’s downright nasty, it’s also absurdly hilarious. I have now become a pro at responding emotionally to these comments.
“I’ve giggled with a lot of you about what kind of mother you would be if you were labeled with a food. Comment on what kind of food mom would you be?”
Several of Rachael’s followers agreed that “almond mother” was an unfair label.
One of them said: ‘I wish my children would enjoy eating what yours do! What an inspiration for a healthy lifestyle and teaching your children wonderful habits.’
Another wrote: ‘Oh my god. I have no words.’
