Elsewhere, Jae broke hearts when he paid tribute to his beloved mother on his Instagram page.

‘I have always been afraid of two things in life. The loss of my mother and death in general,” he began.

‘The thought of these two things would send me into such a tailspin, I hated it… so what did I do? I ignored it.’

‘After my father passed away when I was younger, from that day on I chose to stay away from death. No funerals, no talking about it…nothing.

“After this past week, I can confidently say that I am no longer afraid. I can say with certainty that I truly witnessed something so magical, if out of this world…you had to be there to believe it.

“As I lay with my sister, on either side of my mother… we watched her peacefully take her last breaths. I watched as the lights in the room began to flicker, the curtains blew open and I really felt her being gently taken away by my father, my grandmother and my grandfather. I have never felt so sad and yet so peaceful and so happy with that perfect moment.

‘My mother was my best friend, my hype woman, my everything and she meant the world to me. Words can’t even describe how empty my heart feels in one respect, and yet somehow it’s filled with something else: a true belief that my mother is somehow beautiful… and that means the world to me.”

“I love you mommy, my angel. I know you are always with me,” he concluded.

Many of the couple’s famous friends were quick to express their condolences.

“I’m so sorry guys. Sending you so much love,” influencer Chloe Szepanoski wrote, and Lana Wilkinson added, “Sending love to you and your family.”

In December, Kayla married her fiancé Jae Woodroffe.

The fitness entrepreneur shared the happy news on social media, along with a beautiful photo from their lavish wedding.

The image shows the happy couple sharing a romantic kiss during their outdoor wedding ceremony in Adelaide.

The newlyweds appear deeply in love as Jae wraps his arms around her waist while Kayla tenderly caresses his cheeks.
