FIRST LOOK: The Block’s Sharon and Ankur look nervous at auction

In a few hours, The Block’s final auctions will be broadcast on Channel Nine.

And “villains” Sharon and Ankur looked quite nervous as they joined their co-stars ahead of the final episode.

The former Neighbors star looked glamorous in a tight blue evening gown, which hugged her figure for the occasion.

Ankur looked handsome in a white suit with a black shirt and a pair of stylish loafers.

The pair were joined by Sarah-Jane and Tom, who looked equally glamorous on set.

Sarah-Jane opted for a tight green leather look dress with a structured bodice.

Tom, on the other hand, went for a mustard-colored blazer, a crisp white shirt and beige pants.

He completed his look with a pair of brown boots as he chatted with his wife.

The nervous energy of the auction was felt by all and Rachel and Ryan were also full of trepidation when they arrived on set.

Rachel chose a thigh-length black and white gown to match Ryan’s black suit for the big day.

The couple happily posed by their property as a number of people walked through the houses.

Omar and Oz, two of this season’s most beloved constants, wore black and blue suits respectively that day.

All eyes are on the auctions that air on Sunday night as viewers wait to see how much the teams are cashing in.

Scott Cam appeared on Nine this week and admitted he is “nervous” that the participants’ renovated properties will not be unloaded.

Scott, 59, said rising interest rates and falling home prices mean this year’s Blockheads face challenges that previous participants have not had.

‘There is a bit of trepidation from the buying public. I’m very nervous,” he told The Today Show.

He said that the hard work of the participants should be rewarded and that he would be sorry if they lost.

“I want these guys to make some money. They have worked very hard and deserve it,” he told hosts Karl Stefanovic and Amelia Adams.

He said that the Blockheads will have the full support of the entire team to help them make a profit on their properties.

Despite promises of big sales, some real estate experts have expressed concern that the properties will not sell within their $4 million to $4.4 million price guides.

This is because the average house price in the Gisborne area is about $1.1 million.

However, sources at Nine are confident that the houses will destroy their reserves due to their ultra-stylish designs, great location and resale potential.

Kirsty Lee Akers, who made a profit of $301,523 in the 2021 season with husband Jesse Anderson, predicts that the “cooling” market and overambitious minimum prices are a recipe for disaster.

“I hope I’m wrong, but I have a really bad feeling about this year’s auction,” the country musician told Women’s Day on Monday.
