FIRST LOOK at Interview With The Vampire season 2: New US teaser gives a glimpse of bloodthirsty Claudia on the same day BBC releases first episode of season one

AMC has now released the first look at the second season of the bloodthirsty drama, which is set to air across the pond in 2024.

Coming to the UK two years after its American release, the first episode of the first season of the adaptation of Anne Rice’s classic horror novel Interview with the Vampire aired on BBC One on Thursday night.

Unveiling the clip at Comic Con on Thursday, the teaser reveals the debut of Delaney Hailes as the new Claudia as she takes over the role from Bailey Bass.

The bloodthirsty vampire is undergoing a cast change between two series after Bailey left the show due to unforeseen circumstances.

In no time, viewers are treated to a bloody display as Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) and Claudia are brought to the estate of Santiago (Ben Daniels), the leading vampire theater of the Theater of Vampires.

It’s back: Coming to the UK two years after its US release, AMC has now released a first look at the second season of the bloodthirsty drama (Santiago is played by Ben Daniels in the R picture)

As Armand (Assad Zaman) and Louis chat outside, a bloody scene plays out in the background as Claudia begins to carry people inside.

As blood splatters the window, men cry and bodies fall from the property, the two men remain undisturbed by the chaos inside.

As the two characters get to know each other, there seems to be a flirtation between them, especially when Armand shows his admiration for Louis who only indulges in human flesh every other day.

However, Armand seems suspicious of Louis, especially when it comes to his reaction when the name Lestat (Sam Reid) is mentioned.

Fans were excited about the new series as they responded to a sneak peak on Twitter.

One fan wrote: “This great show can’t wait for the new season,” while another wrote: “It’s so good. I’m totally ready to change my life around this show in 2024.’

However, it’s clear that series one didn’t win over all viewers, as another asked: Does anyone like it?? Because I didn’t like it.’

Another chimed in: “I’ve heard about this from many friends, but I’m not convinced enough. Should I start following him?’

Filming on the second series has begun in Paris – with scenes actually being filmed in Prague – and is expected to be released at some point in 2024.

While the gothic romance was originally broadcast to American audiences, UK fans can now tune in via BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.

For AMC’s version of Interview with the Vampire, producer Mara Lepper-Schlupp recreated the Storyville neighborhood by building facades for Iberville and Liberty streets at The Ranch Studios in New Orleans.

The show also filmed at a number of different New Orleans landmarks, including the Gallier House, which Anne Rice used as the model for Lestat’s townhouse.

The Beauregard-Keys house, located in the French Quarter of the city, was also used for the interior of the Fair Play salon.
