Dx&Vx will use LG CNS AI in the development of a big data platform

South Korean genetic analytics provider Dx&Vx has engaged LG CNS to jointly develop a major healthcare data platform. The partnership, which is a first in South Korea, will do just that Take advantage of LG CNS AI.

Dx&Vx hosts one of the largest databases for genomic analysis in South Korea. It is currently integrating AI into its drug development projects to increase the likelihood of success and forge new partnerships to expand its data services.


FPT signs an exclusive agreement for the distribution of Nipro's blood glucose meters in Vietnam

FPT Medicare, the healthcare arm of internet provider FPT Telecommunications, will exclusively distribute diabetes care solutions from Japanese brand Nipro to pharmacies in Vietnam.

According to a press statement, the exclusive distribution agreement will ensure that Nipro blood glucose meters are supplied at affordable prices to major pharmacies such as Long Chau and medical device stores. Nipro's companion mobile application for blood sugar monitoring will also be introduced as part of the collaboration.

Their collaboration aims to increase access to affordable products high-quality blood sugar meters and enable a growing number of diabetes patients to control their condition.


Philippines opens new AI-enabled catheter lab

The Philippine Department of Health has helped launch a new catheterization laboratory at a private hospital just west of the capital Manila.

The said facility is equipped with the GE Innova IGS 5 with the AutoRight AI feature, which enables dose personalization and provides table-side hemodynamics control. The DOH, together with the local government, helped purchase the machine for St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center in Bataan.
