America’s first-ever elected transgender legislator has been charged with heinous child crimes after allegedly getting her daycare center to send her explicit photos of toddlers in her care.
Stacie Marine Laughton, 39, faces up to 30 years in prison after being charged with complicity in child sexual exploitation.
The former New Hampshire state representative was arrested after daycare worker Lindsay Groves, 38, was accused of taking explicit photos of children between the ages of three and five in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts.
Groves was reportedly in a relationship with Laughton and the two had discussed children’s sexual photos in over 10,000 posts.
Justice Department documents show several sickening conversations between the couple, who fantasized about sexually abusing young children. Their alleged conversations were fully documented in indictment documents, but they are too gruesome to reproduce.

The former couple shared twisted fantasies about sexual acts they wanted to perform with the children and discussed them in great detail, it is alleged.
Groves reportedly once dated Laughton
According to documents, Laughton told Groves to touch a child’s genitals, so she took a photo and sent it to him for “sexual gratification.”
She reportedly “used natural bathroom breaks for the kids,” such as “routinely pulling up diapers prior to nap time… to take multiple shots of the prepubescent kids in a private bathroom.”
Groves, a former Creative Minds Early Learning Center employee, was charged last month with child sexual exploitation and distribution of child pornography.
She is accused of taking nude photos of the three- to five-year-old children and distributing them, according to indictment documents.
The charge of child sexual exploitation can lead to a prison sentence of up to 30 years.
The Nashua Police Department launched an investigation into the allegations after receiving an anonymous tip.
Laughton, a former Democratic representative who is transgender, has a long criminal history dating back to 2002

Laughton was born male and was elected in 2012 but was unable to serve after her criminal past came to light in which she was sentenced to probation following a credit card fraud conviction in 2008.
She was arrested in 2002 for domestic violence/criminal mischief and also had an assault charge against a woman in 2003.
In 2015, she was arrested for voicing a bomb threat against Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
In 2021, she was arrested again for misusing the state’s 911 text messaging system.
Despite her criminal past, Laughton still ran for a second term in 2022 and was elected to represent Nashua, New Hampshire.
But again, she couldn’t take office because she was imprisoned on stalking charges. She was accused of stalking Groves.
Laughton has blamed her past criminal behavior on mental illness and untreated conditions.
