Firefighters required to rescue husky pup Ace after he got his head stuck in popular Bunnings item

Firefighters have rescued a husky called Ace who got his head stuck in a popular Bunnings garden chair.

A Fire and Rescue NSW crew faced a usual challenge this weekend when the puppy became stuck in the metal spokes of an Acapulco chair at a home in Queanbeyan, near Canberra.

Finally, they used a hydraulic cutting tool to gently cut the bait loose.

FRNSW shared images Monday evening of the pup, which appeared to be unharmed and was being patted by the crew who released it.

“A great result for Ace and a memory he will surely cherish forever,” the video’s caption read.

Troy, who was involved in the rescue, confirmed that the puppy was “completely safe and very happy to be back with his family.”

Social media users rejoiced and praised the crew for their efforts.

“Great job,” one person wrote.

“You are all amazing,” said another.

The chairs are sold at multiple retailers, including Bunnings Warehouse, for $39.
