Fired Ukrainian prosecutor Shokin says Joe and Hunter Biden DID take BRIBES – and were behind his ousting: ‘Isn’t that corruption alone?’ he says in preview of bombshell interview

Former Ukrainian Attorney General Viktor Shokin accuses Joe and Hunter Biden of “corruption,” saying they accepted large “bribes” from Burisma and were behind his firing.

Shokin, who was ousted as Ukraine’s top prosecutor in 2016, made the allegations during snippets of an upcoming explosive interview airing on Fox News.

At the time of his resignation, he was investigating corruption at the oil company Burisma Holdings when Hunter was on the company’s board of directors.

“I don’t want to trade in unproven facts. But my firm personal belief is that this was indeed the case. They were bribed,” Shokin says in the clip of the interview.

“The fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in American money in exchange for my firing — my firing — isn’t itself a case of corruption?” he continues in another fragment.

The full interview airs Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET with Brian Kilmeade.

The White House accuses Fox News of providing a “platform to lies” by broadcasting the interview.

In December 2015, then-Vice President Joe Biden gave a speech to the Ukrainian Rada, praising his anti-corruption efforts in the country and calling for a review and reform of the prosecutor’s office.

A few months later, in March 2016, Joe Biden allegedly threatened to withhold $1 billion in aid to Ukraine if Shokin was specifically not fired for corruption — and he did shortly after.

Years later, Biden even bragged about his firing at a Council on Foreign Relations event in 2018.

Biden said he would withhold $1 billion in US aid if the Ukrainians did not agree to fire Shokin.

“I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor doesn’t get fired, you don’t get the money,” Biden said.

‘Well, son of ab****. He was fired,” he continued.

Republicans have said Hunter’s entanglement with Burisma and its possible influence on Shokin’s firing are evidence of the Biden family’s influence peddler scheme.

As part of a larger investigation, they are seeking records showing that Joe Biden used pseudonyms to discuss his activities related to Ukraine with his son Hunter during his time as vice president.

They specifically want an unredacted document showing that then-Vice President Biden had a phone conversation with Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko on May 27, 2016.

Republicans say the document was emailed to “Robert L. Peters,” which is “a pseudonym” that the House Oversight Committee “identified as then-Vice President Biden,” according to a letter obtained by DailyMail.com.

Hunter Biden’s ex-business partner Archer testified to the House Oversight Committee earlier this month that Joe Biden’s “brand” was protecting Burisma because “people would be intimidated into messing with them.”

Hunter’s presence on Burisma’s board and access to his father — vice president at the time — led to the company’s “longevity” because they had “the capabilities to navigate DC,” Archer said, according to the transcript.

Hunter’s best friend and business partner served on the board of Burisma with him as of 2014. They also co-founded Rosemont Seneca Partners, an investment advisory firm.

He confirmed that Hunter put Joe on speakerphone 20 times at business meetings over a ten-year period, which was a “signal” of “value,” and Hunter used his father as a “defense tool.”

He also told lawmakers that on at least two occasions, Joe personally sat and dined with Hunter and his foreign business partners, who then transferred money to companies affiliated with Biden almost immediately afterwards.

At a dinner with Burisma executives at the Four Seasons in Dubai in December 2015, Hunter said he could get “help from DC” to ease some “government pressure” on the company.

Archer testified that Burisma was “under pressure,” and as a result, “they asked Hunter, you know, to help them with some of that pressure.”

He said it was “government pressure” because of the ongoing Ukrainian investigation into the company at the time – led by top prosecutor Shokin.

However, Archer said Shokin “wasn’t specifically on my radar as an individual who was targeting him.”

Republicans have said Hunter's entanglement with Burisma and its possible influence on Shokin's firing are evidence of the Biden family's influence peddling program.

“But yes, there was constant pressure. And it was like being a mole when it came to the pressure that needed to be resolved,” Archer continued.

He said Burisma executives were not specific in their direct question “can the big man help?”

Instead, they used the “amorphous” term, “Can we get help in DC?”

Archer understood that “DC” meant Hunter’s influence, based on his connection to his VP father at the time.

“Well, I mean he was a lobbyist and an expert and he obviously had a very powerful name. So I think that’s what they asked for,” Archer said.
