A leading Democratic strategist has taken a closer look at President Biden’s polls, saying that looking at them is like “walking into your grandma’s house naked.”
James Carville, who gained fame for helping Bill Clinton to the White House in 1992, spoke of his general disapproval of the current state of the Democratic Party.
Speak with The New York TimesCarville talked about ratings, how he believes there are “too many preachy women” turning away black male voters, while also complaining that “woke stuff” was killing his party.
Carville described Biden’s ratings, which are at a low of 37.4 percent according to polls, as: “IIt’s like walking into your grandmother’s house naked. You can’t get the image out of your head.’
Despite his scathing stance, Carville added, “I actually like Biden. He is a tenacious man who has had a real life.

He continued, “He’s a state school boy. He has not an ounce of elitism. He doesn’t even know what ‘awake’ is.
“He has been arguably the best president Black America has ever had, including Clinton and Obama.
‘You look at incomes, employment, poverty rates, access to healthcare. It’s not where white people are, but it’s closer than ever before.”
Despite his general approval of the incumbent president, Carville said he suspected there were too many “preachy women” in the party.
He added: ‘Don’t drink beer. Don’t watch football. Don’t eat hamburgers. This isn’t good for you.’ The message is too feminine.’
Carville appeared to be taking a stab at “The Squad,” a group of Democratic members seen as on the left of the party.
Members include Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib.
Moreover, he also complained that “woke things are killing us” and that the left was speaking in a language that Americans did not understand.

In one anecdote, he recounted his time teaching at Louisiana State University, hearing how one of his students had gone to the school of her dreams to work on an advanced degree.
Wanting to toast her, he recalled to the outlet, “I get a $25 champagne and four plastic flutes, and I told the students, ‘Okay.’ You can’t leave James Carville’s class unless you know how to properly open a bottle of champagne.
‘Here’s what you’re going to do. You don’t blow it out like you see in the movies, otherwise you’ll gouge someone’s eye out.
‘You take off the foil. Now take a dishcloth and perform the classic counterclockwise movement.
‘The bottle goes one way; the cork goes the other way. You just calm it down, and the sound you seek is the sigh of a contented woman.”
Carville added, “The next Tuesday, the dean comes into my office and he says, ‘I’m closing the door. We need to talk. A student had complained about the sigh line.’

He told the outlet that he wanted to tell the dean, “Her boyfriend has never heard that sound,” but replied, “I’ll try to do better.”
Carville recently made headlines after referring to Marjorie Taylor Greene and other Republicans who labeled Biden’s State of the Union address “white trash.”
“I tell people I have the equivalent of a Ph.D. in white trashology, and you really saw white trash on display,” Carville said MSNBC.
“And let me say something about… Marjorie Taylor Greene. She dresses like white trash. She really needs a fashion consultant. Can I recommend George Santos?
Greene was one of the most prominent voices shouting objections at the president.
