Fire breaks out at Villawood recycling facility on Miller Road in Sydney

A fire has broken out at a recycling plant in Sydney’s west as firefighters arrive en masse to contain the blaze.

According to Fire and Rescue NSW, crews are on the scene of a major fire at a metal recycling plant on Miller Road, Villawood, on Monday.

The fire brigade is trying to prevent the flames from spreading to an adjacent warehouse.

About 12 fire engines and about 40 firefighters are working tirelessly to bring the fire under control.
