The photograph was taken in Rajasthan, a state in northern India, by photographer Sudhir Shivaram.
Those with a keen eye will be able to spot the leopard camouflaged in its surroundings, waiting for its next meal.
Sudhir, 43, had hoped to see one of the huge leopards, as the region is known for its wildlife.
Sudhir said: ‘The place is very popular with leopards due to its rocky terrain.
The photograph was taken in India by photographer Sudhir Shivaram. Can you see the creature resting on the rocks?
‘The leopard had come out of his den and was resting.’
The wildlife photographer kept a distance between himself and the predator for his own safety.
He said: ‘I took the photo with the leopard slightly off center so it’s really hard to find.
“They are the most adaptable animals and can easily serve smaller mammals, birds, and sometimes local livestock.
‘As long as we don’t bother them, they won’t interfere in our lives and coexist.’
The creature is camouflaged against the terrain in the lower left corner of the image.
