Finally! Netflix Reveals Release Date for New Real-Life Dating Show I’ve Been Waiting for Months and Am So Excited About
As a reality TV fan, I first heard that in March 2024 Love is blind was headed to the UK, I was understandably excited. Now I can’t wait to fall in love all over again, because Netflix has finally announced that Love is Blind UK is coming to one of the best streaming services on August 7th and if you watch the teaser trailer (see below), it’s going to be just as exciting.
Love is blind is one of Netflix’s best guilty pleasure series (I’ll admit that), and I was instantly hooked when its first season aired in 2020. The scandalous social experiment quickly became a cultural phenomenon with its wacky relationship drama and fiery confrontations, now running for six seasons.
From a wine-drinking dog to a runaway bride who falls into a ditch, Love is blind has become one of the most talked about shows thanks to the many iconic moments it has produced over the years. Whether you believe that love is blind or not, there is no doubt that Netflix’s wacky twist on a dating show is addictive to watch.
If you are not familiar with the premise of Love is blindIn this dating show, single men and women talk to each other from individual groups, without seeing each other. Only when they decide to get engaged, based purely on their conversations, do they come to an agreement.
Despite the love triangles, tears, tantrums and drama, Love is blind has surprisingly created long lasting relationships for some (although very few), but we’ll have to wait and see what they say at the altar Love is Blind UKAfter a number of spinoffs in Brazil, Japan, Mexico and Sweden, the Emmy-nominated series has finally set up shop in an exciting new location for those looking for love.

What is Love Is Blind UK about?
Although the setting and hosts are different, Love is Blind UK follows the same premise as its predecessors. Thirty men and women go into separate pods, where they date without seeing each other. When they get engaged, the couples see their fiancés for the first time and see if their physical connection matches their emotional bond. When they return to the real world, they will discover if love really is blind as they navigate the pressures of everyday life with their upcoming wedding just four weeks away. When their wedding day arrives, will the realities of the real world drive them apart, or will they marry the person they have fallen blindly in love with?
In the footsteps of a married couple and Love is blind presenters Nick and Vanessa Lachey, new British presenters Emma and Matt Willis will guide the singles from their first day in the pods to the altar. Former Big Brother presenter Emma and Busted musician Matt have been together since 2004 and previously presented I’m a celebrity…get me out of here! NOW!as well as the BRITs and BAFTAs in 2008. It may not be our usual pick, but we consider it a series with the potential to be one of the best Netflix series when it comes out.
