A movie star was completely unrecognizable on Monday when she shared behind-the-scenes snaps from the set of Deadpool & Wolverine.

Actress Emma Corrin sported a noticeably bald head as she transformed into her character Cassandra Nova in the huge new film out July 25.

The British actor, 28, – who identifies as non-binary and uses the pronouns “they” and “them” – posed cheekily in a toilet cubicle as they peered around the corner.

The Crown star will play Charles Xavier, aka Cassandra Nova, the evil sister of Professor X, in the new Marvel crossover, which sees Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprise their title roles.

Emma also posted a video to their Story showing off their bald heads – created using prosthetics – as they galloped around the set in their costume.

The movies Thursday night’s preview gross could be anywhere between $35 million and $40 million, which would be a record for an R-rated film, via Deadline.

The superhero sequel was expected to gross between $160 and $170 million, but now it could be approaching $200 million, a first for an R-rated film.

While we won’t know until official figures are released on Friday, an early Deadline report suggests Thursday’s preview grossed more than $35 million, and may have even topped $40 million.

That would be roughly double the previous record for an R-rated film, this film’s predecessor, 2018’s Deadpool 2, which grossed $18.6 million.

It still doesn’t come close to the total record for Thursday sneak peeks — $60 million for 2019’s Avengers: Endgame — but it would be in the top 9 if it grossed more than $31 million.

The new forecast for Thursday night would be in line with that of the 2022 Marvel sequel Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, which earned $36 million in previews on Thursday and grossed $187.4 million in its opening weekend.

The 2018 Marvel blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War grossed $39 million on Thursday, before the film went on to gross an impressive $257.6 million.

The film currently holds a Fresh score of 80% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, with a massive 98% audience score from over 2,500 viewers of its Thursday sneaks.
