The one hit wonder also put on black sweatpants and brushed his blonde locks to the side.

He completed the look with a selection of wooden bracelets and wore his credentials all over his body.

Speaking on Tuesday’s TalkSport, he said of the performance: “They asked me to do it, what should I say? This is the first stadium performance I’ve done in 30 years.’

He further confirmed that he would indeed be performing his 90’s hit The One And Only.

“I’m a little nervous, but I’m just more excited. It’s just that one song and I don’t have to guess what song I’m going to do. I could probably sing that song in my sleep.”

After his music career, Chesney appeared on reality TV including The Games and Dancing On Ice.

It comes after many stars have refused to perform in the country due to their human rights record, including Dua Lipa, Rod Stewart and Shakira.

England will look to improve on their lackluster draw against the United States as they look for the win that would send them into the World Cup final-16 as group winners.

Three points against Wales will be enough to claim first place in Group B, while one point will be enough to progress, but they also need to improve their performance in Friday’s stalemate with the USA – where Gareth Southgate’s side was heavily criticized after a mediocre performance.

Wales, meanwhile, are on the brink of elimination after a 2-0 defeat to Iran. They now need to beat England, and if not by at least four goals, Rob Page’s side must also hope Iran and the US draw.
