Firefighter Clementine Ford has dipped her toe in the dating pool – with disastrous results.
The author of Fight Like A Girl, 42, announced via Instagram on Monday that she had recently joined Feeld – an “inclusive” dating app aimed at people interested in kink and alternative relationship models such as swinging and polyamory.
“I ventured into Feeld a few weeks ago and can report that it is no less disappointing than any other app,” the single mother of one child wrote alongside a screenshot of her dating profile.
On the app, Clementine listed her sexuality as “pansexual” and described herself as a “writer,” “dreamer,” and “optimist.”
“I have a big, brave heart and I’m not afraid to use it,” she continued, adding, “Not interested in ONS (one night stands) or being a story you tell at a party.”

Clementine also shared an example of one of the most “unreal opening messages she’s ever received.”
The user, whose name Clementine was scratched out, wrote: “I know it’s probably a bit passé to acknowledge your celebrity (and I’m really sorry if this really upsets you), but “I once ate Clem Ford’s pu* *y” would be the greatest business icebreaker of all time.”

It comes two weeks after the media personality announced the upcoming release of her new book, I Don’t: The Case Against Marriage.
“It’s a new story about an old lie,” she wrote on Instagram alongside the photo of the book’s cover.
As I finalize the very last chapter and intend to send this book out into the world, for better or for worse, I couldn’t be happier to share with all of you this exceptional cover, designed by the brilliant Christa Moffatt,” she added.

Clementine also shared a review from her friend, progressive influencer and social commentator Lauren Beckman.
‘I couldn’t wait for the morning, I had to keep reading. F**king hell Clem, this book is awesome. I can’t wait to see the impact!’ Lauren wrote.
“It will fool some people. But the number of people you will free… I am so excited that this book is going out into the world.”
