Female ‘serial killer’ is arrested after ‘murdering three people in shocking three-day spree’

An alleged female serial killer has been arrested by Canadian police after a gruesome three-day killing spree.

Sabrina Kauldhar, 30, allegedly committed three murders between October 1 and 3, including fatally stabbing two random men in two separate cities.

The first homicide was discovered by Toronto police around 2 p.m. Tuesday, with a woman in her 60s found dead with “trauma to her body” in her home. Her identity and manner of death have not been released by police.

This was followed just 24 hours later when Lance Cunningham, 47, was stabbed to death in a park in Niagara Falls.

Police said Kauldhar then traveled by public transportation to the city of Hamilton, where a day later grandfather Mario Bilich, 77, was also stabbed in a parking lot and died hours later in hospital.

Investigators chillingly revealed that they are also looking for a woman in Burlington, Ontario, who was seen on CCTV buying clothes that Kauldhar later wore, although it is not known whether she was a victim or accomplice.

Investigators said Kauldhar was known to the female victim in Toronto, but believe Cunningham and Bilich were both randomly targeted during the alleged killer’s attack.

Kauldhar was arrested in Burlington, Ontario, on suspicion of the first murder, before quickly being linked to the other two deaths during the investigation through a description of a suspect at both scenes.

At a news conference after her arrest, Niagara Regional Police Chief Bill Fordy said she is “by definition a serial killer.”

“We have more than a hundred investigators trying to understand why something like this is happening and gathering as much evidence as possible to bring the suspect to justice,” he said.

Fordy said detectives have not determined any motive for the killings and said the investigation is in the “early stages.”

“I think as time goes by we will get more clarity,” he added. Fordy noted that the suspect had previously had an “interaction” with police, but declined to provide details.

Investigators chillingly revealed they are also looking for a woman in Burlington, Ontario, who was seen on CCTV buying clothes that Kauldhar later wore.

Lance Cunningham was stabbed at John Allan Park in Niagara Falls shortly before 3pm on October 2 and died from his injuries.

Police have released surveillance footage showing Kauldhar casually walking away from the scene of one of the murders

After Kauldhar’s arrest, police asked the public for help identifying a woman seen on CCTV footage from a Giant Tiger store in Burlington before the rampage.

She was reportedly seen buying clothes that were later found in Kauldhar’s possession after her arrest. However, it is unclear whether police are treating her as a potential victim or accomplice.

While little has been revealed by investigators about the first alleged killing, police said Cunningham’s death came after paramedics were called to John Allan Park in Niagara Falls shortly before 3 p.m. on Oct. 2.

Cunningham was found to be seriously injured, and despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Less than 24 hours later, 77-year-old Mario Bilich was stabbed in a Hamilton parking lot and died hours later in hospital.

Police released surveillance footage showing Kauldhar casually walking away from the scene.

Tributes poured in for the victims after their deaths, with Bilich (pictured with his daughter) described as a beloved grandfather and former teacher

Following Kauldhar’s arrest, tributes poured in for the victims, with a friend of Cunningham saying they “regretted” they could not say one last goodbye.

“The good people always seem to get the short end of the stick in life,” they said. “You will be truly missed, my friend.”

They added that the 47-year-old leaves behind a wife and a daughter.

Bilich’s daughter Antonella said in a lengthy Facebook post that her father was a beloved grandfather and former high school teacher who was well known in their community.

‘Our father died yesterday in a senseless stabbing. We are still reeling from this news. But I’m here to tell a different story about him,” she wrote.

She said he was an “extremely devoted husband and father and nonno, a very funny and quirky man, with a biting/sarcastic/humorous side at times.”

Bilich’s wife died of cancer in 2022, and Antonella wrote that he would spend his days playing cards with friends and visiting his wife’s grave in the cemetery, and his family said he was performing this daily routine when the tragic stabbing took place.
