Female passenger rages after Allison Langdon ‘gets special treatment’ on a Qantas flight to Fiji – but a telling photo proves otherwise
A woman has accused Qantas of giving A Current Affair presenter Allison Langdon special treatment on a flight from Sydney to Fiji last weekend.
Australian mother Courtney, who was on the same plane as the Channel Nine presenter, claimed that economy class passengers asked staff for wine during the flight but were told it would not be offered.
She said Allison, 45, was also in economy class and was not only offered wine, but her children – son Mack, seven, and daughter Scout, four – were allowed to use the first class toilets but other young people were denied access.
“There was a celebrity from 60 Minutes on the plane, I think her name is Allison. She didn’t get a first class seat, she got an economy seat,” Courtney fumed on TikTok.
‘We flew Qantas. They turned people away when they asked for wine and that’s fine. I didn’t ask but I heard a lot of people were turned away.
‘But then they offered her wine and handed it out in front of everyone. So the people who didn’t get alcohol had to sit and watch this famous lady get served alcohol, even though they bought the same ticket for the same price.
“The staff treated her better than anyone else. It’s just not fair. Why are these famous people being treated better in front of you, when you both paid the same amount?
“If you give someone special treatment just because you think they’re famous, I think that’s wrong. I don’t understand what’s happening to service these days.”
But Courtney’s story about what happened during the flight was quickly debunked.
In photos obtained by Ny Breaking Australia, Langdon was photographed with her husband Michael Willesee Jr. and their children at the Qantas business class check-in desk before flying overseas for the school holidays.
They were escorted to the gate by Qantas ground staff, a service normally only provided to business or first class passengers.
The Qantas website also clearly states that all economy passengers on international flights are offered complimentary Australian wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.
Ny Breaking Australia has reached out to Langdon for comment.

Langdon and Willesee Jr. married in 2008 after first meeting at a Sydney bar.
“We were in a bar and this guy came in wearing a red T-shirt and dark jeans. And you have that moment where you’re just so physically attracted to someone? It just hit me,” she previously said.
Langdon recently announced what she plans to do when she steps down from hosting ACA.
She joined the program in early 2023, replacing Tracy Grimshaw, after co-hosting the Today Show with Karl Stefanovic for three years.
In May, she said she hopes to stay at ACA “for a while longer,” and when she eventually steps down, she plans to return to college and start a new career..
