Female Kamala Secret Service bodyguard who brawled with her colleagues previously filed $1M gender discrimination lawsuit against the Dallas Police Department

Kamala Harris’ “erratic” bodyguard, who got into a fight with colleagues this week, previously filed a $1 million gender discrimination lawsuit against the city of Dallas.

An armed Secret Service officer assigned to the vice president was removed from her position after she got into a physical altercation with fellow agents on Monday, reports show.

The officer began fighting with fellow officers Monday morning after showing up at Joint Base Andrew in Maryland before the vice president arrived for a planned trip to Wisconsin, according to the Washington Examiner.

RealClearPolitics identified the officer as Michelle Herczeg, 43, a female officer from Harris’ security detail.

It has now been revealed that Heczeg previously filed a gender discrimination lawsuit against the city of Dallas in 2016.

Herczeg, an armed Secret Service officer assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris, was removed from duty after she got into a physical altercation with fellow agents on Monday.

The lawsuit alleges that Herczeg retaliated after reporting sexual harassment of her colleagues to the Dallas Police Department.

Herczeg also claimed she was not allowed to return to crime-fighting after claiming a senior officer assaulted her in May 2015. Dallas Morning News reported.

Legal documents from 2021 show that Herczeg has sued the city of Dalllas for gender discrimination, wrongful termination of employment based on gender, gender retaliation, and aiding and abetting discrimination.

The first lawsuit alleged that the department “tolerates unprofessional conduct, such as fraternization and unprofessional working relationships between men and women, based on an atmosphere of male officer control regardless of rank or ability.”

Herczeg was hired by the Dallas Police Department in September 2008 and became a senior corporal in 2015. Before joining the police force, she served eight years in the Air Force.

She graduated from the police academy in the top five percent of her class and pursued further law enforcement training to become a drug recognition expert.

Herczeg claims she was not allowed to return to the North Central Crime Reduction Team after reporting the alleged assault.

According to the Secret Service, Harris was at her home near the Naval Observatory when the incident occurred and it did not affect her travel plans

The lawsuit alleges that she was denied overtime patrol duties, causing her and her family to suffer “stress and mental anguish from the loss of pay compensation.”

On Monday, Herczeg arrived irregularly for his shift. He took a fellow officer’s personal phone and started deleting applications from it. According to the report, she also muttered to herself, hid behind curtains and threw items at fellow officers, including sanitary pads.

Herczeg told her fellow officers that they would “burn in hell and listen to God.”

Sources said the special constable in charge and a shift supervisor tried to calm Herczeg down after she started exhibiting aggressive behavior, but she tackled the Senior Constable in charge of security and started hitting him.

Although Herczeg was armed, her weapon remained in its holster until she was disarmed by her colleagues. She was handcuffed and removed from the terminal.

The Secret Service confirmed that an agent of the vice president “exhibited behavior that their colleagues found distressing” and was removed from his position on Monday.

According to the Secret Service, Harris was at her home near the Naval Observatory when the incident occurred and it did not affect her travel plans.

‘The US Secret Service takes the safety and health of our employees very seriously. Because this was a medical matter, we will not release any further details,” Secret Service Communications Director Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement.

Other officers were aware of previous incidents of strange behavior by Michelle Herczeg prior to the incident at the airport.
