Female fan is captured snorting white powder in the stands during halftime of a Colombian soccer game

One supporter inhaled a powdery substance during a match between Colombian football teams Cucuta Deportivo and Fortaleza FC.

Cucuta and Fortaleza faced off on Friday in a crucial match to decide who would seal promotion to the Colombian top flight, and the tension of the occasion was seemingly too much for one female fan.

At half-time, with Fortaleza leading 1-0, cameras panned across the stands of Bogota’s Estadio Metropolitano de Techo and captured an apparently compromising moment for one supporter.

The reporting included a close-up of a young woman standing in the section of Cucuta supporters inhaling what appeared to be a white powder.

The female fan brazenly took out the bag in front of the rest of the supporters and dipped a small spoon into it before sniffing it, without realizing she had been captured on camera.

A clip of that moment began circulating on social media, prompting jokes from other football fans.

“Things go badly for a team when the fans make more passes than the players,” one social media user wrote on X.

“Those were the passes Cucuta needed to win,” said another with a crying and laughing emoji. You know the game was bad when the best passes were made in the stands

Cucuta went on to lose 2–0, with Fortaleza doubling their lead in the 69th minute of the second leg of the Categoria Primera B match.

The victory secured a 2–1 aggregate victory for the Bogota team and secured promotion to the Colombian First Division after six years in the second tier.
