A female British skier has died after colliding with another British tourist on a black slope in France.
Emergency services rushed to the Les Arcs resort in the Savoie district at around 10.30am today after reports of the violent collision involving the two skiers.
The unnamed British woman, 62, is said to have collided head-on with a 35-year-old British man on the black slope of the Aiguille Rouge piste after losing control of her skis and died after the crash.
Paramedics attempted to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to French news outlet Le Dauphine, the British man, who was stationary at the time of the collision, suffered a broken leg and was taken to a local medical center.
