A number of fans raised concerns about rapper Dave Blunts’ health after he had to bring an oxygen tank onstage for his seated set Saturday at the United Center in Chicago.
Blunts was among the performers in the Windy City for the 4th annual JUICE WRLD DAY in memory of the late rapper Juice WRLD, who passed away on December 8, 2019 at the age of 21.
A number of X/Twitter users commented on their health concerns for the 23-year-old rap artist after a video of his outing went viral.
Some people said Blunts, who weighs an estimated 500 pounds, needed encouragement from those around him to take better care of himself.
“It’s crazy how he got so big with his team just watching,” one user said of Blunts.
One fan said that “the people around him need to tell him the truth, this isn’t a flex,” to which a fan replied, “I don’t think he thinks it’s a flex.” He just doesn’t care.’

Several people said they were angry to see Blunts in such poor condition that the use of an oxygen tank was necessary.
“This breaks my heart,” said one user. ‘This young man is missing so much in life. Food addiction is real. Sugar is the main culprit.’
Another said: ‘I couldn’t enjoy myself during the show. The idea of having fun while he deals with the personal issues he must have [suffer] from within would simply be too much.
Some said they feared the Davenport, Iowa, resident’s mortality, saying he was “literally suffocating” to the point he needed an oxygen tank nearby.
“Bros about to visit Juice,” said one user, while another said, “Honestly sad homie is dying.”
One user took issue with Blunts’ material, which references drug use several times, during a memorial show for Juice WRLD, whose 2019 death was linked to narcotics.
“Performance about drug use at a concert featuring the legacy of someone who died of a drug overdose,” the user said. “Maybe I’m lost.”
Blunts had to deal with his attitude, the oxygen tank as well as the growing rift with Snoop Dogg (after the 53-year-old rap legend called out Blunt for his size), according to Subway.

‘Chicago! Do you have a problem with me sitting on this stage?’ Blunts asked the audience, who answered no to his question. “Right, so get the fuck off my d***, Snoop Dogg.”
‘I see the big dog talking. Snoop, do you think you’re funny? You don’t know what it’s like to have to fight for your life every day.’
Regarding the oxygen tank, Blunts said: “I have demons and a tank to prove it. Don’t come for me if you’re blessed enough to be here this long; respect the struggle.”
