Fearne continued: ‘Sometimes I don’t trust that people will do what I need or support me in the right way.

“So I’m like, ‘No, I’m doing everything on my own,’ which isn’t great, but I know I can rely on myself.

“So I’m kind of sticking with that and I know that’s not great, but it’s just a coping mechanism, I guess.”

Fearne also appeared to reference her marital problems in her previous podcast admitted to her Happy Place podcast that she “doesn’t want to feel exhausted, stressed and not present in her family home.”

Speaking to Caroline Hirons, Fearne spoke about the ‘toxic pressure that a woman can have it all’.

After a stressful few weeks of battling her tumor fears, going through a divorce and running a business at the same time, Fearne admitted: ‘The pressure is enormous’.

She said: ‘There’s a lot of pressure on women to prove ourselves, that we can run businesses, I’m trying to do the same with Happy Place. But if we’re honest, the pressure is enormous.

‘I can imagine you [Caroline] being like me, there are many things I would like to do, many goals.

“I want to grow and expand in many ways, but I don’t want to feel exhausted and stressed and unable to be present in my childhood home. [I want to] spending time with my friends, having fun.

“There’s still that toxic kind of trope that women can have everything that people think.”
