Bindi Irwin tries to take a selfie with daughter Grace before she grabs the phone and runs away

Bindi Irwin grew up in the limelight with no fear of the camera.

And it seems that her daughter Grace Warrior is after her famous mother.

The Wildlife Warrior tried to snap an adorable selfie of mother and daughter on Thursday when the bubbly toddler managed to get hold of Bindi’s phone.

The active one-year-old continued to film as she made off with Bindi’s device.

Bindi, 24, later shared the adorable moment with her stories.

The video starts with Bindi trying to get Grace into a pose so she can take the selfie.

Grace, dressed in a cute khaki jacket with a zipper on the front, is seen playing with a wooden toy.

Bindi waves to the camera just before you can see Grace pick up the phone.

The little toddler looks curiously at her new find before running away from her mother as the video continues to roll.

“Grace taking my camera to film herself is the best ever,” Bindi captioned the story.

Friends and followers joined in to spread the Instagram post.

‘LOL, [Grace] walking away with the phone got me,” messaged to fan, “while another added: ‘she [Grace] is definitely the cutest and the best little vlogger.’

It comes after Bindi and her husband Chandler Powell, 25, were recently praised for raising Grace Warrior in nature.

The conservationist shared a sweet video on Instagram last month of her daughter exploring the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve in Queensland.

Fans said the couple were “great parents” because they set a “great example of how children should be raised.”

Bindi and Chandler welcomed their daughter on March 25, 2021, which happened to be the couple’s first wedding anniversary.

The high-profile zookeeper is the daughter of Terri Irwin, 58, and famed conservationist Steve Irwin, who died suddenly in 2006 after being attacked by a stingray.

Bindi has been working with her brother Robert (18) at the family-owned Australia Zoo on the Gold Coast since she was a teenager.
