Members of New Zealand’s feared Mongrel Mob bikie gang have been charged in Sydney over an alleged kidnapping – as footage emerges of one being marched from his home in his tracksuit pants and slides.
Elite NSW Police Raptor squad officers raided homes in four suburbs in Sydney’s south-west about 6am on Friday, arresting two men – aged 30 and 32 – with alleged ties to the infamous motorcycle club.
During the raids, cops seized a black and silver motorbike, a blacked-out ute and a series of club vests and paraphernalia.
The 30-year-old man was charged with taking a person with intent to hold them to ransom and knowingly directing a criminal group.
The man was also hit with charges relating to his alleged involvement in the shooting of a 35-year-old in Merrylands last month.
The man was hauled to Bankstown police station from his home in Georges Hall near Bankstown in a grey zip-up hoodie and tracksuit pants.

A 32-year-old man was also arrested in the raids and taken to Kogarah police station where he was charged with knowingly directing the activities of a criminal group, conspiracy to take a person to ransom and intending to disrupt investigations.
Police pulled a number of Mongrels Mob items from his home including vests, patches, bandanas and other items of clothing bearing club insignia.
Cops also confiscated an all-black Ford dual cab ute, and a black and chrome street motorcycle with a fat back wheel and upside-down mirrors.
A third alleged Mongrel, 42, was also charged for his role in the conspiracy to kidnap the man with intent to hold to ransom and dealing with more than $100,000 in proceeds of crime.

The appearance of the bikie gang is unusual as their activities in Australia have been limited and largely confined to the Gold Coast in previous years.
The gang are beginning to win sway in Sydney’s underworld scene from across the ditch.
The kidnapping charges are believed to be linked to a 21-year-old being allegedly taken from his Bankstown home and taken on a ‘drive’ – before he was dropped back at his house, a police source said.

Cops also seized a blacked-out Ford dual cab (pictured) from the Bexley home of the 32-year-old man
Inquiries from bikie and cybercrime task forces’ following the alleged incident culminated in multiple home raids early on Thursday morning across four Sydney suburbs.
The 30-year-old man will face court in November and was refused bail.
The 32-year-old was also refused bail and will front court on Friday.
The 42-year old is set to appear in Liverpool Local Court on September 12.
