Fboy Island: Applications open for the second season of Abbie Chatfield hosted show – as casting agents reveal one essential requirement to appear on controversial show
It was one of the most controversial streaming hits of 2023.
And now producers of Foxtel’s Fboy Island have announced that applications are open for season two of the raunchy dating series.
In the reality series, presented by Abbie Chatfield, three women look for love from a choice of 24 suitors, half of whom are ‘f**k boys’.
High-profile season one winners Molly O’Halloran, 26, and Nick Brown, 25, took to Instagram on Thursday to make the casting announcement.
The couple, who found love in the first series, told viewers that producers are currently looking for “nice guys” to try out for season 2.
During the video, Nick declared his love for Molly, who smiled shyly.
Nick also added that the $25,000 prize money was a nice takeaway from his time on the show, which he described as an “amazing experience.”
At one point in the sweet clip, Molly looked lovingly at her boyfriend and declared, “As we saw in season one, nice guys don’t always finish last.”
Meanwhile, the show is official casting call describes what Fboy Island producers are looking for.
“If you’re unapologetic, have a great personality, and are ready to use your charm and good looks to find true love… or cause some trouble on the island, then we’re looking for you.”

Other casting requirements require applicants to submit a head-to-toe photo of themselves showing their face (without the use of sunglasses or filters).
Producers are also looking for women for the series.
“We are looking for confident and charismatic single women looking for love to be the leads for the show,” the application reads.
It continues, “Have you recently been burned by an FBOY in a life-changing way? Or do you like to see yourself as the ultimate FBOY tamer? Or do you just want to finally end up with a nice man who doesn’t have two phones?’
By correctly choosing a real man over a ‘Fboy’, female contestants will go home with $50,000 in prize money to share with their new partner.

It comes after Molly and Nick went public with their relationship after Fboy Island Australia aired in June, after keeping their romance under wraps for months.
During this time they met each other’s families, and Molly from Melbourne entertained the idea of moving to Sydney for Nick, who lives in the Sutherland Shire.
When quizzed about engagement plans, Molly recently told News Corp that she already dreams of becoming a bride.
