FBI raids NYPD Commissioner’s home after targeting Eric Adams’ top aides in corruption probe
The FBI has raided the home of NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban as part of an investigation into corruption in New York.
The FBI also searched the homes of NYPD Chief Raul Pintos and two precinct commanders in Queens and Manhattan, sources said. Image 11.
These raids took place simultaneously at Wright’s home in Hamilton Heights in Upper Manhattan and at Banks’ home in Hollis, Queens.
Banks’ brother, former MTA official and current lobbyist Terence Banks, was also targeted.
Agents searched Caban’s home on the same day that the homes of New York City Deputy Mayor Phil Banks and Sheena Wright were also searched by federal authorities.

Meanwhile, the phones of another top Adams adviser, Timothy Pearson, have reportedly been subpoenaed, the New York Post.
This came after the FBI seized Mayor Adams’ cellphone and laptop and raided the home of his campaign treasurer, Brianna Suggs, last November during an investigation into his 2021 campaign.
Sources told Pix11 that the raid on Caban’s home stemmed from a separate investigation than the probe into Adams’ campaign finances.
