FBI ‘probes burglaries of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s mansions amid fears of larger crime spree’

The recent burglaries at the mansions of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are now part of a federal investigation.
Sources told TMZ that the FBI is helping Cass County (Missouri) sheriff’s deputies investigate the Mahomes robbery, while the Bureau is working with nearby Leawood police on the Kelce burglary.
And according to TMZthe FBI isn’t involved just because the victims are famous Kansas City Chiefs players. Rather, the FBI’s role in the investigation indicates that these crimes are connected to other crimes in various jurisdictions. There are also more burglaries in homes in the area, sources tell TMZ.
FBI spokespeople did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
Both Travis and Brittany Mahomes’ and Kelce’s homes in Kansas City were robbed last month while the teammates were playing for the Chiefs.

It was first reported that Mahomes’ luxury mansion in Belton, Missouri, was burglarized around midnight on October 6 as the defending Super Bowl champions were preparing to host the New Orleans Saints.
Meanwhile, Kelce’s lavish $6 million home in Leawood, Kansas, was allegedly targeted just hours later on October 7 – the same day the Chiefs defeated the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium with Taylor Swift in the stands.
The report claims that $20,000 in cash was stolen from Travis’ home, while his back door was also damaged. It is unclear if anything was taken from Mahomes’ property.
The burglary at Kelce’s property was reported to police sometime on October 8.
It is unclear where Kelce and Mahomes were at the time of the burglaries. Some NFL teams stay in hotels the nights before home games.
Swift was cheering on Kelce and Mahomes during the Monday Night Football game between Kansas City and New Orleans on the day her boyfriend’s house was burglarized.
In a 26-13 victory for the hosts, who maintained their undefeated start to the season, Mahomes completed 28 of his 39 passes with 331 yards and an interception. Kelce, meanwhile, had nine catches for 70 yards.
Kelce wanted more privacy after being harassed at his old house during his romance with Swift
The latter moved into his 17,000-square-foot estate in Leawood shortly after his high-profile romance with Swift went public last year in a bid for more privacy.
DailyMail.com then revealed in November 2023 that the pop megastar had joined him in the luxurious six-bed, six-bathroom pad.
Kelce’s home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a gated community just 20 minutes from Arrowhead.
The future Hall of Famer was desperate for more privacy after being harassed at his old place in KC’s Briarcliff West area by crazed fans during his relationship with Swift.
Mahomes and wife Brittany moved into their Belton mansion in 2020. The property now has a practice football field and a golf course.
