FBI director will make top Republicans LOOK at Biden document on ‘criminal plan’: Chris Wray offers compromise on ‘$5 million bribe’ memo to avoid contempt charges
- The internal unclassified FD-1023 form apparently spells out an “arrangement” for an exchange of money for policy decisions, Republicans have said
- They issued a subpoena for the document last month and threatened to detain FBI Director Chris Wray
The FBI will allow oversight committee leaders to see the FD-1023 form they say proves President Biden was involved in a $5 million criminal bribery scheme involving a foreigner.
The internal unclassified FD-1023 form apparently spells out an “arrangement” for an exchange of money for policy decisions, Republicans said, issuing a subpoena last month.
Oversight Chairman James Comer and R-Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley spoke by phone with FBI Director Christopher Wray on Wednesday, and Wray offered to let Comer and senior member Jamie Raskin review the documents at FBI headquarters in an effort to avert Comer’s threat. to keep Wray contemptuous of Congress.
But Comer was dissatisfied and has said he will continue to despise Wray if he does not present the document to the full committee.
Oversight Chair James Comer and R-Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley spoke by phone with FBI Director Christopher Wray on Wednesday
“It has become clear to us that anything other than submitting these documents to the House Oversight Committee is inconsistent with the subpoena,” Comer said in a statement.
On Tuesday, speaker Kevin McCarthy backed up Comer’s contemptuous threat, telling Fox and Friends he was “willing” to move forward with the charge.
“We have jurisdiction over the FBI, which seems to act as if we don’t. I personally called Director Wray and told him to send that document. Today is the deadline,” McCarthy said.
Tuesday marks the deadline for the FBI to turn over an internal document that Republicans say shows President Joe Biden was involved in a $5 million “criminal” scheme involving a foreigner
Comer alleges that China indirectly paid as many as 12 members of the Biden family in exchange for policy decisions
A whistleblower came forward with stunning claims that a file “contains an accurate description of how the alleged criminal scheme (involving Biden) was implemented, as well as its purpose,” the Republicans said.
It was a bombshell update in the Republicans’ aggressive “influence peddling” investigation into the Biden family.
The House Oversight Committee has accused several members of the Biden family — including Hunter and Hallie — of being involved in “shady” business deals that took advantage of the family name.
The subpoena specifically directs the FBI director to produce “all FD-1023 forms, including within any open, closed, or restricted file, created or moderated as of June 2020, that contain the term “Biden,” including all associated attachments and documents to those FD-1023 forms.”
As part of the ever-expanding investigations against Hunter Biden, Republicans on the House Oversight Committee have also reviewed IRS documents and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), which they say prove that the Biden famAt least 12 family members have benefited from corruption and influence.
Comer said last month that no one is “left for a Christmas photo” because the “entire Biden family” is caught up in the financial enrichment plan.
According to the SARs reviewed by Comer’s committee, he previously confirmed that President Biden’s brother, Jim Biden, and his son Beau’s widow, Hallie Biden, benefited from the foreign business deals.
Another whistleblower from the IRS came forward recently alleging that a senior Biden administration official was interfering with the DOJ special counsel’s investigation into Hunter Biden led by U.S. Attorney David Weiss of Delaware.
DailyMail.com previously confirmed that the senior official in question is Garland.
Garland has agreed to Weiss’ independence and testified to Congress that the investigation is being conducted impartially.
“He’s been told not to be denied anything he needs,” Garland recently told the Senate Judiciary Committee. “I’ve heard nothing from that office to suggest they can’t do whatever the US attorney wants.”
Weiss is reportedly close to completing the four-year investigation into the alleged tax and gun crimes of the president’s son.
The US attorney met with officials at DOJ headquarters in Washington, D.C., last week — another signal that the investigation may soon be concluded.
