Faye Brookes has gone Instagram official with her new boyfriend just hours after her ex-fiancé Gareth Gates split with his girlfriend.
The 35-year-old Coronation Street star has been dating fellow actor Iwan Lewis since October and shared their first snap together on Wednesday.
The pair previously starred in a production of Legally Blonde together in 2011-2012 and have remained friends ever since.

Faye shared a photo of the couple cut out in front of the window as they embraced for a passionate kiss.
Tagging Iwan in the photo, the former Dancing On Ice star captioned the romantic snap with a love heart.
Several of the soap star’s fans commented on the post that Iwan was “lucky to be dating her.”
Faye was previously in a relationship with personal trainer Joe Davis, but they split in July after three years of dating.

It comes after Gareth split from his girlfriend Chloe McLennan after two years of dating.
The 38-year-old Pop Idol star has also apparently unfollowed the DJ on social media with an insider saying “the writing has been on the wall.” [for the couple] for some time’.
Possibly in retaliation, Chloe, 36, removed all traces of her former boyfriend from her Instagram grid that she uses to promote her music career.

said a source Sun: “The writing was on the wall for some time, and it became apparent that there were issues between them as Gareth hasn’t liked or commented on any of Chloe’s photos since November 11.”
“As Christmas approaches, they have called it quits and want to start over separately in 2023.”
It is unknown when he unfollowed Chloe, however, she still follows her ex-boyfriend.

Gareth met Chloe in Ibiza and they began dating almost a year after their split from Fiancee Faye Brooks.
He met former Corrie star Faye when they appeared in Legally Blonde: The Musical, and they went public with their relationship in August 2013.
In September 2018, it was reported that Faye and Gareth briefly ended their relationship when the singer’s “very controlling” behavior sparked a series of angry disputes.
Next up: It is unknown when he unfollowed Chloe, however, she still follows her ex-boyfriend.

But in November they decided to give the relationship another try, with Faye pulling out of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! to spend time with him.
And despite getting engaged in mid-July 2019, Faye has reportedly moved out of their shared flat. They announced that they had separated for good in August of that year.
On Tuesday, Gareth appeared to be putting on a brave face as he enjoyed some sightseeing with his extended family.

Posing as a large group by the Thames, he captioned the snap: “There is literally no other place I’d rather be than surrounded by my beautiful family.”
It comes after she enjoyed a night out at London’s Winter Wonderland with her younger sister Charlotte and their two young children on Monday.
He joined his sister in the bumper cars with penguin faces at the front and looked very lively as he rode through the different attractions at the capital’s festive hotspot.

In a modern brown trench coat with fleece-lined lapels, Gareth looked great as he bundled up for the chilly December temperatures.
She dressed up with a black sweatshirt underneath and a black scarf to add an extra layer to her look.
His younger sister Chloe, 31, joined him on the bumper cars where they seemed delighted to be driving around the place.
