Faye Brookes ‘is engaged’ to boyfriend Iwan Lewis after just four months of dating

Faye Brookes is engaged to boyfriend Iwan Lewis after a whirlwind romance, a new report claims.

The 35-year-old Coronation Street star has been dating fellow actor Iwan since October and only went Instagram official at the end of December 2022.

She made a low-key appearance at the Cirque du Soleil event in London last week and wore a sparkler on her ring finger.

said a source Sun: ‘Faye and Iwan are engaged and couldn’t be happier about it.

“They have only been dating for a short period of time, but they are both sure that they have found their soul mates in each other.

‘Faye has kept the news low-key but has been wearing her engagement ring in public. They recently moved in together and getting engaged was the icing on the cake.

The pair previously starred in a production of Legally Blonde together in 2011-2012 and have remained friends ever since.

Tagging Iwan in the photo, the former Dancing On Ice star captioned the romantic snap with a love heart.

Several of the soap star’s fans commented on the post that Iwan was “lucky to be dating her.”

Faye was previously in a relationship with personal trainer Joe Davis, but they split in July after three years of dating.

Iwan is a Welsh stage and screen actor. He is best known for his role as Emmett in the UK tour of the stage version of Legally Blonde.

In August, Faye took to social media to reveal that she and her ex-boyfriend Joe have decided to end their relationship after three years together.

Faye, best known for playing Kate Connor on the ITV soap, took to Twitter to confirm the news, telling her fans they had “very sadly” parted ways.

Posting to his 85,000 followers on the app, he wrote: “Just wanted to say, very sadly, after almost three years, Joe and I have decided to go our separate ways.

“We had the most wonderful time, and our mutual respect, admiration and friendship remain stronger than ever.”

The news came after Faye revealed in February 2021 her and Joe’s plans to get married and have children, as she declared that he was the “best entertainer” when he appeared on Dancing on Ice.

When asked if there was a compromise in the cards, Faye said OKAY! magazine: ‘I’d love to get married and I know Joe would too, but right now we love our lives and there’s no pressure.’

His partner Joe agreed: “There’s a great future ahead for both of us and we’re on our own journey.”

The Dancing On Ice star previously dated singer Gareth Gates.

The couple dated on and off for seven years and got engaged in January 2019, but Faye and Gareth called off the wedding in August of that year and parted ways.
