Davis, who did not check on her son for an hour after returning home despite the fact that he had a serious head injury that she said was due to a fall, was sentenced yesterday to two years in prison following a felony of child cruelty.
Ethan’s father, Luke Turvey, hailed his ex-partner’s sentence.
Writing on Facebook, he said: ‘So four and a half long years finally ended today, Stacey Davis has gone to prison for two years for cruelty and neglect towards my son Ethan.
“My family and I are extremely excited and happy that she got what she deserved. And to anyone who stood up for her and stood up for her, I hope you feel like complete and utter idiots and I hope you feel ashamed of yourselves, she is a child molester and she has paid the price by going to prison.”

The mother left her one-year-old son Ethan Davis alone in his crib for two hours while she ran errands and visited a park near her home in Melksham, Wiltshire.
Turvey said Davis had taunted him and his family at an earlier hearing at Salisbury Crown Court when his sentence was adjourned.
He added: ‘It is insane that the person convicted of child cruelty to my deceased baby had the audacity to look at me and my family and say ‘shame’ just because his sentence was deferred. He just shows his lack of remorse.
The baby was rushed to the Royal United Hospital in Bath on June 27, 2018, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Davis appeared before Salisbury Crown Court for sentencing yesterday, after pleading guilty to child cruelty. She was jailed for two years.

Davis had relationship and financial problems and was struggling to bond with Ethan, a court heard
Simon Jones, the prosecutor, earlier told a court that a post-mortem examination revealed that Ethan had suffered a significant head injury, a 15cm fracture to the skull, but the cause of death remained undetermined.
In the interview with police, Davis told detectives that her son fell to the ground and hit his head, and despite swelling, bruising and obvious distress, she did not take him to the hospital.
Mr Jones said: “Any reasonable parent would have noticed the distress and sought medical attention.”
Forensic investigator Nicola Anderson also identified that there were high levels of cannabis in Ethan’s hair.
She said this was consistent with Davis smoking the drug with Ethan on a regular basis.
But Mark Ashley, representing Davis, argued that her case was a “classic example of postpartum depression.”
Ethan was born prematurely via C-section and immediately required colon surgery after the birth, resulting in a two-month hospital stay.
Mr. Ashley told the court that Davis had relationship problems and financial problems and was struggling to bond with Ethan.
She visited him in the hospital infrequently, blaming the family’s inability to get lifts.
Mr Ashley added: “Not only was he suffering from it, but he was dealing with it the wrong way – he was smoking cannabis.”
But Judge Richard Parkes, KC, weighed in, saying, “That was unbelievably stupid, go out there and do it.”

Davis, who regularly smoked cannabis near her son, did not control it for at least half an hour after she returned to the property.
Mr Ashley also recounted how Davis was afraid to take Ethan to hospital with an injury after he was previously removed from their care by social services due to a suspected broken leg.
Ethan was returned to his care when the injury was found to be non-existent and no evidence of any wrongdoing was found.
He told the court that Davis had been working with Turning Point to reduce his cannabis use, but had smoked it that week because his “stress levels were particularly high.”
Ashley asked the judge to consider a suspended sentence, adding: “Everyone involved is trying to put their lives back together, she’s trying to put her life back together.”
“The matter has been spinning over her head for years, she is extremely worried about being arrested.”
But Judge Parkes, KC, described Davis’s behavior as “utterly selfish” before sentencing her to two years in prison.
He told the defendant: ‘There is no evidence that you or your father caused Ethan’s death, there is no suggestion that you did. The sad truth is that you did not take very seriously the duty you owed to Ethan as his mother.

The court heard that Davis (pictured) was afraid to take Ethan to hospital with an injury after he was previously removed from her care by social services due to a suspected broken leg.
He suffered a 15 cm skull fracture one to three weeks before his death, probably from a blunt force impact of significant force.
He did not seek medical attention for his head injury. Any normal parent would put the child’s health before anything. It is clear that he abandoned him on two occasions, including the day of this death.
This is compounded by the fact that it happened twice. You left Ethan alone on his cot in a room with a closed window. You sat on a bench at one point and drank [a child] to the park and went to a store.
‘You had taken your car to the car wash on the way back. It’s reasonably clear you weren’t in a hurry.
“What’s particularly scary about this episode is that you spent half an hour on the phone, sending and receiving messages. [when you arrived home]Until you went to see Ethan.
You hadn’t seen him, you hadn’t seen him, for almost three hours.
Following his sentencing, Detective Chief Inspector Phil Walker, of Wiltshire Police’s Major Crimes Investigation Team, said: “I would like to offer my sincerest and heartfelt condolences to the family of this child.”
“Davis’s actions the day his son died fell far short of the duty owed to him as his mother: she should have loved him, cared for him and put his well-being first, as any loving and caring parent would.
“It has been over four years since he passed away and I know this has been an incredibly difficult time for everyone who knew and loved him.
“The investigative team has worked tirelessly on what has been a challenging and extremely upsetting case and their hard work has ensured that it is now followed through to conclusion.”
