Father mocked over £750 listing for his ‘beautiful creamy sofa’ after pictures showed it is covered in his child’s permanent marker drawings

Dad mocked £750-plus advert for his ‘beautiful creamy sofa’ after photos showed it covered in his child’s permanent marker drawings

  • Esfandiar Aria from Luton, Bedfordshire, is selling his old DFS leather sofa for £750
  • This is despite the fact that the sofa is covered in a child’s scribbles with a marker pen

A dad has been mocked online after leaving a £750 price tag on his sofa, even though it was mentioned on his child’s permanent marker drawings.

The cream-colored three-seater sofa, original from DFS, is made of leather and two of the chairs can recline.

However, the sofa is all scribbled over with a black marker.

Each pillow has various markings on it, including children’s drawings of cars.

They appear on every part of the sofa, even on the arms and the front and the wall behind it in the living room of seller Esfandiar Aria.

Despite the ugly drawings, Mr. Aria put the sofa up for sale.

Mr Aria claims he only bought the sofa a few months ago and ‘there is nothing wrong with it except what you see’

He’s selling it for a shocking £750 on Facebook Marketplace, reduced from £1,250.

It can be collected from Luton, Bedfordshire.

He claims he only bought the sofa a few months ago and “there’s nothing wrong with it other than what you see.”

The listing reads: ‘This is a beautiful creamy Winston three-seater sofa from DFS.

‘Only used for a few months.

‘Armchairs: electric/automatic.

‘Reason for sale: my little one drew all over it with a permanent marker with black ink.

“There’s nothing wrong with it except what you see.”

Facebook Marketplace shoppers were left in stitches at the listing.

Shopper Andy McCabe said: ‘This is art.’

One shopper said: ‘As the father of a sweet girl, I can relate.’

Another customer said: ‘Banksy.’

Tired Jason said, “Get it from a gallery.”

“I should take it to a modern art gallery and sell it for £5,000,000,” said another user.
