- The incident left her feeling ‘terrible’
An influencer went on a rant of verbal abuse while filming content for social media, with a stranger telling her she “deserved to die.”
Fashion and lifestyle influencer Emilee Clark told Daily Mail Australia she was attempting a photoshoot outside a Gold Coast apartment block when an elderly woman approached.
Ms Clark, from Brisbane, uploaded the disturbing confrontation to her TikTok account on Thursday.
“I don’t influence you in any way,” Mrs. Clark is heard to say to the woman.
The stranger then let loose on the influencer.

“You hit me because we pay a lot of money to live here and we don’t want someone like you who is really cheap,” she said.
A surprised Mrs. Clarke replied that she was not cheap, but the woman continued to rebuke her.
“How much do you charge?” she said.
“When you do something like that, you recharge.”
The woman threatened to call the police before eventually walking away, muttering, “She deserves to die.”
A friend who was filming the incident echoed the woman’s last words in shock.
But that wasn’t the only disturbing scene Ms. Clark had to deal with during her attempted photoshoot.
Ten seconds later, according to Mrs. Clark, “another lady came over and threatened that she had already contacted the police to come and ‘remove us’.”
Ms Clark said the encounters made her feel “absolutely awful”.
Ms Clark said it was “frustrating” when she was attacked by other women
In a second video uploaded to her TikTok account, a woman’s voice can be heard in the background as Ms. Clark tries again to pose for the camera.
“Just so you know I’ve contacted the police,” the woman said.
Ms Clark revealed that she had been harassed before while trying to do her job, but it was the first time she had captured it on camera.
“I felt absolutely terrible,” she said.
“I was already having a bit of an average day and that really hit me, especially because I was so aggressive and confrontational.”
The stylish blonde said it’s “frustrating” when other women belittle her.
“There are so many of us trying to promote healthy body positivity, being comfortable and loving the skin you’re in, and then you have women who put you down for doing just that,” she said.
Ms Clark said she tried to stay positive about her own body.
“I just felt cute in my new dress,” she said
