It comes amid news that dairy farmer Harry used a borrowed farm to lure contestants into the reality dating series.
Harry, was presented on the show as the owner of a farm in Gloucester, NSW, but The Herald Sun has since revealed that his property is in Kyabram, Victoria.
Seven confirmed in a statement to Daily Mail Australia that the farm Harry used was not his real property, but stressed that the show was not cheating viewers or its potential partners.
Channel Seven has confirmed that the property Farmer Harry (pictured) used during his time on Farmer Wants A Wife was not his real property
“Due to Covid, part of Harry’s Farmer Wants A Wife journey was filmed at a dairy farm near Gloucester,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
“The location of the farm did not affect the series as Harry’s ladies were able to experience life on a dairy farm with Harry, including the early morning start.”
Interestingly enough, the dating series never refers to the farm as its own, with voiceovers instead referring to “Farmer Harry” when the show cuts to its storyline.
Farmer Wants a Wife continues Monday at 7:30pm on Channel Seven
Harry’s farm was actually more than 900 miles away from the property filmed during the show, according to The Herald Sun
