Farmer Wants A Wife’s Emma Sensationally Quits The Show After Farmer Dave Questions Their Chemistry: ‘It’s The Best Decision For Both Of Us’

Farmer Wants A Wife may only be three episodes, but it seems Channel Seven’s dating show was too much for one contestant.

In an unexpected twist on Wednesday night, Emma made the decision to quit after failing to form a bond with Farmer David.

During the episode, the Queensland apple grower admitted that managing the selection process for a potential mate of five female hopefuls was “tricky.”

But the decision was taken out of David’s hands when 29-year-old Emma voluntarily left the competition.

In the third episode, Farmers chose their bottom two ladies for a double date, with the caveat that one would be sent home afterwards.

David struggled to connect and chose Emily, 26, and Emma for the double date.

During a visit to David’s primary school, the children were immediately drawn to Emily’s bubbly personality.

David commented, “It’s easy to imagine that with your own family,” while Emma came across as “really neat.”

After a tennis session, David and Emma chatted to find out more about each other, but both remained ‘reserved in their feelings’.

David proceeded to reveal where his head was.

“I haven’t found our chemistry yet; I’m not 100% sure why we didn’t find that,’ he told Emma.

She then made the unexpected decision to leave.

“It’s pretty clear to me that I’ll probably leave the farm and make your decision a little easier today,” she said.

“You have some great girls to choose from, and I think that’s the best decision for both of us,” she added.

After their conversation, David respected Emma’s choice, noting that she had picked up on the reality that he “probably had more spark with Emily.”
