Farmer Wants A Wife star Anna Wilson has responded to fans demanding she star in a spin-off series.
The midwife, 28, from Queensland, starred in the Channel 7 dating show in 2024 but ultimately failed to win the heart of farmer Dustin.
She was left heartbroken in the finale when Dustin chose to pursue a relationship with Sophie Trethowan, which he said was a very difficult decision.
However, fans were quick to call for Anna’s return to reality TV as they urged Channel 7 to sign her up for a new dating show to give her a second chance at love.
Anna has now responded to the calls for a spin-off show and admitted she was overwhelmed by the messages, but said she has no plans to return to reality TV.

“I actually can’t believe the reaction I’ve had,” she said Yahoo! Lifestyle. ‘Everyone has sent me thousands of sweet and beautiful messages and I feel quite overwhelmed by it all.’
Anna insisted she only went on the show to try to find a husband and said she has no plans to pursue a career in the public eye.
“I didn’t get the guy, so I guess I’ll just go back to my normal life,” she added.
Anna won the hearts of Australian viewers on FWAW and after the finale they took to Reddit to pitch a spin-off show where she is looking for a partner.
They wrote: “Let’s get a spin-off where Country Town Wants a Midwife goes [agriculture] small-town shows where they bring out their top crop of eligible bachelors, the CWA makes their pitch, hospital staff shows her a good time, and even real estate agents show her what her new house could look like’;
Anna has now responded to the calls for a spin-off show and admitted she was overwhelmed by the messages, but said she has no plans to return to reality TV.
“We could expand the spinoff to some fan favorites with useful professions or just make it the Anna show since she’s all they need. Channel 7 – are you here reading this?’;
‘I’m all for this idea! Both farmers really messed up’; “I’m thinking of a new format, new producers, and making it more of a community thing than a harem competition.”
Farmer Dustin formed connections with both Anna and Sophie throughout the show, but ultimately chose Sophie in the finale because he declared he was falling in love with her.
Dustin, a livestock and arable farmer from Condobolin, NSW, reportedly felt sad when he had to choose between Anna and Sophie, both 28.

Speak with New ideaan insider claimed that “Dustin truly cared about both Anna and Sophie, but in the end he had to go with his heart.”
Dustin and Sophie walked off into the sunset together at the end of the series and fans got a glimpse into their romance during last week’s reunion show.
The couple revealed that they had hit a hurdle in their relationship because of the “rustic cabin” they moved into on his farm.
“It’s definitely a boys’ house. So much needs to be done. “I don’t know if it would pass a health and safety inspection at this point,” she said.
During the reunion, it was revealed that Dustin and Sophie had hit a hurdle in their relationship due to the “rustic cabin” they had moved into on his farm.
‘I moved from my parental home to another house on the farm. It’s livable,” Dustin argued.
He admitted that the move ‘put the brakes on’ their relationship as Sophie was unhappy with the accommodation and did not want to move to the farm.
Although there was some tension between the couple, they revealed that they are still together.
“Luckily I haven’t scared her away yet,” Dustin said, but Sophie admitted that the cabin “might scare her off” if he doesn’t fix it and get a plumber.
