Farmer Wants a Wife shocking twist: co-host Natalie Gruzlewski introduces 10 new ladies to the farmers in a move that will ruffle some feathers

Ten new ladies will cause a stir in Farmer Wants a Wife this week as they officially enter the show to find love with the farmers.

Co-host Natalie Gruzlewski, 45, will introduce them to the five farmers on Sunday, with their participation ensuring everyone has the best chance of meeting their match.

Seven said in a statement that their introduction, which takes place on the show every year, may ruffle some feathers, but it was done to help true love blossom on the show.

“Nat has scoured the country to find two more potential partners for any farmer to meet. The farmers will spend time with each before inviting one of them to the farm.

‘These latecomers are not afraid of the connections that the farmers have made with the existing partners. The road to love is never easy,” they said.

The 10 new contestants are aged between 21 and 39 and promise to add some drama to the gripping dating series.

It comes after a female contestant sensationally quit the series last Wednesday, just three episodes into the show.

In an unexpected twist on Wednesday night, Emma made the decision to quit after failing to form a bond with Farmer David.

During the episode, the Queensland apple grower admitted that managing the selection process for a potential mate of five female hopefuls was “tricky.”

But the decision was taken out of David’s hands when 29-year-old Emma voluntarily left the competition.

In the third episode, Farmers chose their bottom two ladies for a double date, with the caveat that one would be sent home afterwards.

David struggled to connect and chose Emily, 26, and Emma for the double date.

During a visit to David’s primary school, the children were immediately drawn to Emily’s bubbly personality.

David commented, “It’s easy to imagine that with your own family,” while Emma looked “really tidy,” and after a tennis session, David and Emma had a chat to learn more about each other.

After their conversation, David respected Emma’s choice, noting that she had picked up on the reality that he “probably had more spark with Emily.”
