Farmer Wants A Wife Reunion: Farmer Todd announces he and Daisy are set to marry – and fans aren’t happy: ‘Fatal Attraction vibes’

Farmer Todd has revealed he plans to propose to his chosen lady, Daisy, during Sunday night’s emotional Farmer Wants A Wife reunion special.

Todd, 28, a cattle farmer from Baan Baa, New South Wales, admitted he hasn’t made it official, but he and Daisy, 28, a gym manager from Queensland, were looking forward to a wedding and babies.

“For me it was so wonderful that this beautiful man took me to the place where we are getting married,” Daisy told host Samantha Armytage.

“We want some little rugrats sooner rather than later. I need to put a ring on my finger,” Todd confirmed.

He said they hoped for “marriage and children and beginning that next chapter.”

‘That was the agreement, yes. I give him his family, but he has to give me a big rock,” Daisy joked.

‘Yes, the ball is certainly in my court. Like I said, you know, it’s going to happen,” Todd added.

Viewers online were less than impressed with the announcement, with several sharing their thoughts on X.

“Daisy is a walking red flag, giving me Fatal Attraction vibes,” wrote someone watching at home.

Others pointed out that Daisy left a six-year marriage a few years before joining the show.

“No seriously, how can she come straight out of one marriage and then jump straight into another marriage like it doesn’t affect her that deeply or something?” someone else asked.

“Is she a serial wife or something? Calm down, you’ve known each other for five minutes, someone else posted.

“I turned it off. I can’t stand red flags and showmances’, but one more came.

However, some fans supported the pair, with one person writing: ‘Todd and Daisy look so in love. Well done.’

“They look happy, but is this a honeymoon phase?” another wondered, and another added: “She’s making me worried.”

Todd chose Daisy over her love rival Grace in a recent finale episode.

‘We’ve both had heartbreak in the past. I think we both learned from previous lessons,” he told her.

“You’ve said you’re a big risk and I agree, but finding love is a big risk. And I think I’m willing to take the risk with you, Daisy.’

“You made me cry again. I love you so much. This is where the exciting part begins, right?’ Daisy cried.

Viewers at home were upset about Todd’s decision, with several people sharing their thoughts on X.

“How could you possibly choose Daisy over Grace?! End it now, Toddy,” one person wrote, while another agreed, “Yes. It’s like shopping at the two dollar store or David Jones.

“I’m not convinced that Daisy won’t be bored for another second five minutes after moving to Baan Baa,” someone else wrote.

‘I don’t think Daisy wants a farmer. Just a husband,” said another viewer watching at home.

Others pointed out that Daisy did not get along well with Todd’s family during home visits.

“So Todd’s family and friends are not Daisy fans and she just started a new business with significant capital costs. There are still many challenges to overcome,” said one.

“It’s going to be awkward in that town if/if Daisy moves to Todd’s town,” said another.

“Todd is going to pick Daisy. I love being a fly on the wall at his family reunion,” someone else wrote.
