A farm worker has died after being crushed by hay bales on an Australian farm when he was crushed by a hay bale.
Paramedics were called to a property in Greendale, an hour west of Melbourne, around 4pm to treat a 64-year-old man injured on the job.
It is clear that he was badly injured after several bales of hay fell on him.
He later died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the freak accident.

Victorian police remain at the scene, although the man’s death is not considered suspicious, 9News reported.
Hay bales in Australia can weigh between 350kg and 700kg.
