Far North Queensland man, 35, is charged with more than 200 child sex offences after cops allegedly made a disturbing discovery
A man accused of indecently treating children has been charged with more than 200 additional offences.
The 35-year-old initially faced a total of five charges when he was recently arrested in far north Queensland, police said.
However, on Saturday he was charged along with hundreds of others after investigators reportedly found additional child exploitation material on his electronic devices.

The additional charges include 64 counts of indecent treatment and 61 counts of involvement of a child in the production of child exploitation material.
The man has also been charged with 42 charges of producing child exploitation material, 26 charges of taking a child for immoral purposes and seven charges of using a carriage service to access child abuse material.
He will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on Monday.
“The investigation is ongoing and police are providing support to those involved,” police said.
