The Chicago Bears have released some stunning AI-generated images of a new stadium that could be built on the city’s waterfront, but not all residents of The Windy City are impressed.

The NFL team shared the photos Wednesday afternoon before Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson led a news conference on the proposals.

According to FOX32 Chicago, the stadium will cost approximately $3.2 billion to build, with the Bears themselves paying $2 billion. It could accommodate 65,000 people, with a target opening in 2028.

The stadium will not only host sporting events; it will also host music concerts and surround it with 14 hectares of green space and sports fields.

But when the proposals emerged on Wednesday, one came back in the social media comments: ‘What about parking?’
