Fans spot how Patrick Mahomes trolled Travis Kelce at Taylor Swift party with hilarious Eras Tour reference

Patrick Mahomes couldn’t resist making fun of Travis Kelce as he attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour-themed party with his wife Brittany.

Brittany shared a series of photos on Instagram from the glitzy bash, where she posed for photos alongside Patrick, Taylor, fellow Chiefs WAG Lyndsay Bell and the pop megastar’s close friend Ashley Avignone, as they all looked glamorous.

Kelce, who has been dating Swift for over a year, was not directly in any of the photos but could be seen in the background of one shot.

And soon after Brittany posted the photos, eagle-eyed fans immediately spotted her husband hilariously trolling his Chiefs teammate.

The Kansas City quarterback’s look on the night – consisting of a black top hat and suit with a white shirt, scarf and bow tie – appeared to be a reference to the outfit Kelce wore during his famous Eras Tour cameo over the summer .

In June, Travis wowed 90,000 fans at London’s Wembley Stadium by walking onstage as a backup dancer for Swift as she performed “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” while dressed as his fellow dancers.

It didn’t take long for fans to realize that Mahomes had channeled his inner Eras-Tour-Kelce at the party, with one person writing in the comments section of Brittany’s post, “not him dressing up as travis.”

Another asked, “Wait, did Patrick dress up as Travis’ cameo or just another backup dancer from ICDIWABH?”

“It’s like an Eras tour party or something. Patrick dressed like Travis at the ICDWABH performance,” a third concluded.

A fourth said: ‘Patrick dressed as Travis (Taylor’s Version)’.

While someone simply said: ‘patrick as travis sends me’.

Brittany, meanwhile, seemingly paid tribute to Taylor by rocking a black and gray sequined dress and matching glittery boots that resembled the kind of look the music icon would have donned at one of her global concerts.

As for Swift, she opted for a simple black dress and long silver earrings as the group partied the night away.

Fans also put two and two together to point out that the party was likely a birthday for the singer, who turned 35 last Friday.

‘FINALLY guys!! we have birthday pictures,” one user wrote on Instagram.

Another wrote: ‘Okay but it looks like a Taylor Swift themed party for Taylor Swift to me. Obsessed.’

In addition to the party, Kelce also reportedly treated Swift to a lavish 35th birthday party before the Chiefs beat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Taylor had a “meaningful and memorable” celebration for her big day and was “showered with gifts” from Travis, 35, who also gave her “tons of roses” – according to a source who spoke to Page six.

The Kansas City crew reportedly went “out of their way” to make sure everything was “perfect” for the celebration, which took place last Friday.
